Urban Planning Museum

The Exhibition Centre on People's Square is a six-storey building, with two basement levels, displaying Shanghai's urban planning and development. Exhibits include models of planned and recent developments, as well as Shanghai's history. The centrepiece is a huge scale model of the city of Shanghai, showing all existing and approved buildings. It is a breathtaking display of human foresight, craftsmanship and civic pride. In fact, you've never seen anything like it!
